Greetings from the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (Southeast Asia)!

The Society for Vascular Ultrasound (Southeast Asia) was founded in September 2018 by a group of like-minded professionals practicing in the field of vascular medicine, surgery and/or ultrasound. SVU (SEA) is a non-profit society that aims to advance the level of non-invasive vascular testing in Southeast Asia through educational programs, publications and collaboration with other societies in related discipline.

Training for vascular ultrasound in SEA is clearly lacking due to the absence of a formal undergraduate academic program, which is why a trained Vascular Technologist is often highly sought after in SEA.

Our educational programs aim to deliver clear performance guidelines for vascular testing in Asian context, as well as to provide training in vascular diagnostic studies to improve accuracy and reliability.

SVU (SEA) is affiliated to the Society for Vascular Ultrasound in the United States of America, whom we closely emulate. Our future plans envision advocating for our niche profession by increasing our visibility on the SEA healthcare platform. In our infancy, there is still much to be done for the vascular community in SEA.

Do sign up with us as a member and join us for an exciting and meaningful journey!

Cheers,
